Good news - the TRF is being restored!

The original Renters Forum went down in the summer of 2024 without any warning or explanation. This is an attempt to put things to rights.

THINGS TO KNOW

1. This new, TRF "dot com" site is an attempt by volunteers to rectify the situation. We make no promises and no warranty is expressed or implied.

We will do our best to publicize meetings. Goal #1 is to get back on-line. So stay tuned!

2. The forums part of the software may change... hopefully this can be decided via in-person, public meetings.

The original domain owners used the Simple Machines Forum (SMF) software. Current open source alternatives include phpBB and "MyBB".

3. We DO NOT want to repeat the mistakes of the past, so the creation of a "Plan B" is high on our list. Something to ensure (or at least strengthen) continuity. Democracy dies in darkness.

Just as an example we may need the services of a firm of soliticors, ergo someone to hold the keys to the system in escrow.
