According to an Op/Ed item in the Toronto Star (https://www.thestar.com/opinion/contributors/2023/06/03/we-need-to-take-sides-in-tenants-rent-strike.html) today (Saturday June 3) some people living at 71, 75 and 79 Thorncliffe Park Drive are on a rent strike

Apparently this action is for real. I spoke to someone who attended a protest or dialogue/action over the weekend, and this person (who lives in a nearby building that is likewise a bit run down) spoke to a lawyer who was advising one of the striking tenants.
